Do Not Disturb stops incoming calls from ringing, so you can focus, sleep or sit through a meeting without turning anything off. It’s part of your Talkwish account, so it silences calls on every device where you’re signed in at once.
Turn it on
- In the web app, open Settings, then Calling.
- Turn on Do Not Disturb.
- Under How long, choose 1 hour, Until 8 AM tomorrow or Until I turn it off.
The line under the switch tells you when it ends, for example “On until 3:30 PM”. You can change How long while it’s on, and the new end time starts from that moment.
When the time is up, Do Not Disturb turns itself off and calls ring again. To end it early, turn the switch off.
What callers get
While Do Not Disturb is on, incoming calls don’t ring any of your devices.
Once you have a number at launch, calls to it go straight to voicemail while Do Not Disturb is on, so callers can still leave a message. Calls aren’t forwarded while it’s on, even if call forwarding is turned on. See Set up voicemail and call forwarding.
Do Not Disturb is only for calls. Messages from other Talkwish users still arrive as usual.
Your device’s own do not disturb
Your phone and computer have their own focus or do not disturb modes, and those are separate from Talkwish’s. If calls don’t ring and Talkwish’s Do Not Disturb is off, check your device’s settings too. See Fix calls that don’t ring or keep dropping.
