Calling from your browser

The web app runs over Wi-Fi or mobile data, with no SIM card needed. A few things help your first call go smoothly.

    Your browser asks the first time you make or answer a call. Choose Allow so the other person can hear you.

  • Use an up-to-date browser

    Talkwish works in the latest Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Keep yours updated for the best call quality.

  • Use a headset if you can

    Headphones with a microphone cut down on echo and keep your voice clear. We recommend them for longer calls.

When will the mobile and desktop apps be available?

The iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac apps are on the way. We'll announce it here and email customers as soon as each one is ready.

Until then, you can call, text and check voicemail from the web app in your browser.

Can I use Talkwish now?

Yes. The web app works today in the latest Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Go to app.talkwish.com, sign in and start calling and texting. There's nothing to install.

Do I need a new account for each device?

No. One Talkwish account works on all your devices. Sign in with it anywhere and you get the same number, messages and call history.
