Talkwish is a calling app that works over the internet. At launch, it gives you a real US or Canada phone number for calls over Wi-Fi or mobile data, with no SIM card needed. Call from your web browser or the Windows and Mac apps, with apps for iPhone and Android coming soon. One account works on all your devices and stays in sync.

Talkwish covers the US and Canada only. Phone numbers are US or Canada numbers, and calls and texts go to numbers in the US and Canada. International calls, numbers and texts aren't offered.
No. Talkwish works over any internet connection, so Wi-Fi is enough. On a phone you can also use mobile data. A stable connection gives the best call quality.
No. Emergency calling isn't available on Talkwish yet, so you can't use Talkwish to call 911 today. Always keep a mobile phone or landline available for emergencies.
Even once emergency calling is offered, calls over the internet can fail or reach the wrong place if your connection or power drops or your address is out of date. See our terms of service for the full details on emergency calling.
The Free plan costs nothing and is open now: free calls and texts with other Talkwish users, with no phone number.
Paid plans come with a US or Canada number for each user once phone numbers open shortly. Standard is $15 per user a month billed yearly, or $27 billed monthly. Pro is $25 per user a month billed yearly, or $35 billed monthly, for 3 or more users. Enterprise is a custom quote for 25 or more users.
Paid plans include unlimited calling with US and Canada numbers under fair use: 1,200 minutes per user a month on Standard and 2,000 on Pro, shared across your company. Past that, extra calls come from prepaid credit at 2¢ a minute for outgoing calls and 1¢ a minute for incoming calls. Prices are in US dollars, and taxes and telecom fees may apply.
No long-term contract. Plans are billed monthly or yearly, and you can cancel any time from your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
